If you ask owner Rick Hubanks the reason everybody seems to know everybody else at Angelo's Italian Restaurant in McFarland, he'll tell you it's a simple question of space.
"It is really a small community," said Hubanks. And though it recently doubled to 26 seats, "the size of the bar — it's pretty intimate, so you can't sit far away from anybody.
