Italian scientists are advancing two promising frontiers of innovation – quantum technologies and regenerative medicine – through research that could contribute to the development of future computers, communication networks, and personalized medical devices.
The first breakthrough comes from Florence, where researchers at the University of Florence and the National Research Council's National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO), supported by the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) and the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS), have achieved an important milestone in quantum physics.
