The menu at Convivium Osteria in Brooklyn, N.Y., has a lot of enticing choices. There’s braised artichokes in extra virgin olive oil with garlic and mint, and first courses include Sardinian pasta with housemate Berkshire port sausage in tomato sauce with pecorino as well as homemade tagliatelle with beef and veal ragu sauce.
For the main dishes, there’s braised rabbit with olives, capers, prosciutto and rosemary, with polenta crostini and Sicilian pistachio crusted rack of lamb in a red wine sauce with cauliflower.
