Making reheated pasta taste good at 36,000 feet was one of the hardest things Chef Sergio Secchi has ever done in the kitchen. Secchi, who makes his family's Italian recipes every night at Ferrari's Italian Villa in Grapevine, has crafted four new dishes that will be part of American Airlines' in-flight menu for first class and business class travelers this fall.
The idea to work with American on its in-flight menu came during one of his cooking classes at his Grapevine restaurant, he said.
