The latest edition of the “Green Economy Report – Italy 2025” shows how Italy’s shift toward sustainable business practices is not only a moral choice but increasingly a strategic advantage – one that strengthens competitiveness and drives growth.
In the years between 2019 and 2024, more than three hundred thousand non-agricultural companies committed to eco-investments, with over one-third of firms in that category now engaged in sustainable upgrades. The green sector now accounts for more than 3.3 million jobs – about 13.8% of the country’s workforce – underscoring how deeply sustainability has taken root in the economy.
