The Italian American Baseball Foundation will honor broadcaster Wayne Randazzo with its 2026 Media Award at the organization’s 10th Anniversary Gala on December 10 at Marina Del Rey in the Bronx. Get tickets here.
From Chicago to Queens to Anaheim, Randazzo has built a broadcasting career that includes local radio, national television and calls of some of baseball’s most memorable moments.
Now in his fourth season as the Los Angeles Angels’ television voice, he continues to bring the game to life for fans.
Randazzo spent eight seasons with the New York Mets, including four calling games on radio alongside Howie Rose. His career also includes calling Albert Pujols’ 700th home run on national television, a historic milestone for one of baseball’s most accomplished hitters.
The Media Award recognizes Randazzo’s contributions to baseball broadcasting as IABF celebrates a decade of supporting the game and strengthening connections within the Italian American baseball community.
The December 10 gala will bring together honorees, supporters and members of the baseball community to celebrate the foundation’s anniversary and recognize those making an impact on the sport.
