A historic landmark for decades is back in its rightful place after an eight month absence. The Christopher Columbus statue and its pedestal were returned, Tuesday, to downtown Pittston.
525 years after Christopher Columbus discovered America, the city of Pittston is rediscovering his recently repaired statue. "We've been saying all week joking it's been a "monumental" task," said Pittston Redevelopment Authority Vice Chair Michael Lombardo.
