Students at Iowa Lakes Community College are preparing an Italian 'feast' for the annual all-you-can-eat Italian Buffet Monday, Oct. 28. Students involved in the Emmetsburg Student Senate and the Hotel and Restaurant Management program assist in the preparation and serving of the food.
Tickets are available from the students working the event as well as at the Emmetsburg Business Office of Iowa Lakes or the Smith Wellness Center. Proceeds from the event go back to the groups participating in the buffet. Diners will enjoy a variety of Italian dishes including lasagna, cavatina and spaghetti with their choice of meatballs, meat marinara, Alfredo or vegetarian sauces. There will also be a large salad bar, bread, variety of dessert bars and beverages.
