Throughout October 2026, passengers traveling across Italy can receive free medical advice while they are on the move, as the country’s rail network once again becomes an unconventional but highly accessible platform for cancer prevention.
FrecciaRosa, promoted by Fondazione IncontraDonna and Gruppo FS Italiane with support from the Italian Association of Medical Oncology, is returning for its 16th consecutive year. The program operates Monday through Friday aboard selected Frecce high-speed services, Intercity trains and Trenitalia regional trains, reaching communities across mainland Italy as well as Sicily and Sardinia.
