Italy’s agricultural excellence is increasingly extending beyond the products traditionally associated with Made in Italy. From flowers and ornamental plants to organic farming, new figures show a country strengthening its position in international markets while developing new tools to protect quality, origin and consumer confidence.
One of the strongest performances comes from Italy’s floriculture and nursery industry. In 2025, the value of national production reached a record €3.52 billion, up 8.1% from the previous year. Over the past decade, the sector has grown from approximately €2.5 billion to €3.52 billion – an increase of more than 30%.
