The 2026 edition of Osterie d’Italia confirms the central role that traditional dining places continue to play in Italy’s food culture. Now in its 36th year, the guide maps the country through everyday tables, family kitchens, and deeply local flavors.
The new edition includes 1,980 establishments, ranging from classic osterie and trattorie to agriturismi and wine bars, spread across all 20 Italian regions. Among them, 337 venues earned the Chiocciola symbol, the guide’s highest recognition for restaurants that best embody Slow Food values through cuisine, hospitality, and connection to local communities.
