Two longtime Valley restaurants are closing their doors.
La Fontanella
After 10 years running restaurants in Chicago, Isabella Mannone moved to Phoenix in 1982 and opened La Fontanella. A few years later, husband Berto Bertuccio came on board, adding to La Fontanella's charms with his homemade gelato, a Valley rarity in those days.
