Eastchester residents Gerardo and Cosimo Bruno, the family behind Caravaggio, Sistina and San Pietro on Manhattan's East Side, say the one question they've heard from their customers over the years has been: When are you opening in Westchester?
Gerardo admits they'd been looking at spaces for a while. When the one vacated by Palmer's Crossing in Larchmont opened up a year ago, they finally sealed the deal...though it would take eight months for them to renovate and refurbish to their specifications.
