The Lido Civic Club of Washington DC is pleased to announce that our 2026 Man of the Year is the Honorable, Dr. Thomas Cellucci, Chairman and CEO of Cellucci Associates, Inc.
Dr. Cellucci is considered a US pioneer in the commercialization of nanotechnology according to a recent article in Forbes magazine, as well as a worldwide expert in the commercialization of emerging technologies.
He is currently the Chairman & CEO Exa Laser Corporation (2026), Chairman & CEO Red Ocean Enterprises (2026), Chairman & CEO Celeriti Fusion Systems (2026), Chief Commercial Officer of Scleron Inc. (2025) and Chairman of Viridion Therapeutics (2026). He served as the US Government’s first-ever Chief Commercialization Officer in the Executive Branch, working for both President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. In addition, he has authored or co-authored 31 scholarly books and over 478 high-tech business and peer-reviewed scientific articles.
The Lido Civic Club will present Dr. Cellucci with this honor on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the JW Marriott Reston Station in Reston, VA.
The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will the 2010 Man of the Year: Joseph Bruno. Cocktails begin at 6pm with dinner at 7pm. ickets and sponsorships may be obtained at our website (lidoclub.org) beginning late September.
