The National Italian American Foundation’s 2026 DiLella Fellows began their strategic business and political tour to learn the inner workings of the Italian ecosystem with three days in Cernobbio, Italy, at the historic Villa d’Este, overlooking Lake Como.
As participants in the prestigious Leader del Future Program held at The European House Ambrosetti’s iconic Cernobbio Forum, our Fellows engaged directly with global leaders in economics, policy, and innovation including economist and former Italian Minister of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility Enrico Giovannini, former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and former Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio gaining firsthand insight into the ideas shaping the future of the transatlantic relationship between Italy and the United States.
