The Center for Italian & Italian-American Culture will be honoring the achievements of Italians who have made a contribution to our society through their work and/or community service on Friday, Nov. 22. The gala will be held at the elegant Villa located on Route 46 East in Mountain Lakes. Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m. followed by a sumptuous dinner at 8 p.m., featuring authentic Tuscan cuisine. Dancing and entertainment will add to the ambience of the evening.
The Center for Italian & Italian-American Culture will recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Italian individuals who have made a positive impact on society. This year's honorees are: "Woman of the Year" – Evelyn Shallo; "Men of the Year" The Accidentals –Ray Chambers, Frank "Buzz" Adubato, Tony Calandra, Frank Calabrese and Jim Liati. "The Lifetime Achievement Award" will be given to Mary Gagliardi Scholl.
