It is our pleasure to inform our community that Councilman Joe Buscaino has extended an invitation to all the Italian-American community to participate to the celebrations that will be held in Downtown LA as well as in Little Italy in San Pedro. Here is a copy of his message to the community:
Dear Friends, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to be our special guest at this year's Italian American Heritage Month (IAHM) Celebrations. During the month of October, the City of Los Angeles will be holding a variety of events celebrating IAHM, which recognizes the significant contributions Italian Americans have made to the growth and prosperity of Los Angeles.
On Friday, October 4, 2019, I will host a City Council Presentation and celebration. We will honor individuals who have made life-long contributions to the Italian community with a city proclamation. On Saturday, October 5, 2019, we will be hosting the Historic Little Italy Sign Unveiling & Festa, with a celebration including food, entertainment and wonderful "family and friends" atmosphere.
