The annual Madonna del Sacro Monte Feast will take place at Holy Face Monastery, 1697 Route 3, on Saturday, May 30. The Bloomfield Mandolin Orchestra, Enrico Granafei, conductor, will perform a special concert at 10:30 a.m., prior to Mass.
The orchestra's performance will be dedicated to the memory of Clifton resident and orchestra supporter Stephen Menconi, who died 10 years ago on May 30, 2005, the same date as the Feast. The Solemn High Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a Gregorian Chant in honor of Our Lady of Sacro Monte of Novi Velia, Salerno.
