Maria Scumaci, resident of Morristown, has officially announced her candidacy for the Morristown Council At-Large as a Democrat. Scumaci graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011, acquiring a dual major (in Business Management and International Management) and triple minor (in Economics, Spanish, and Italian).
"The timeline that sculpted my decision to run for Morristown Town Council all started around the year 1715 when this land was first settled", stated Scumaci. "About 60 years after that, George Washington and his wife Martha were headquartered in Jacob Ford’s Mansion, on what we now refer to as Washington Place.
