U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has written the foreword to the American edition of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s second book, Giorgia’s Vision, scheduled for release in the United States at the end of April. The news was first reported by journalist Sophia Cai, author of West Wing Playbook, Politico’s newsletter covering the White House.
The book takes the form of a long conversation between Meloni and Alessandro Sallusti, former editor of Libero and Il Giornale. On the cover — shared by Cai on X — appears a quote from U.S. President Donald Trump: “[Meloni is] one of the true leaders of the world.” Meloni’s first book, Io sono Giorgia, was published in the United States with a foreword by Donald Trump Jr.
