Minneapolis' newest Italian restaurant opens in former Amore Uptown spot

A new Italian restaurant is now open in the former Amore Uptown spot in Minneapolis. Pinoli is the latest venture from Minneapolis restaurateur Kim Bartmann, who announced in November she'd open the new concept in the space after the retirement of Amore Uptown general manager Tim McHugh.

The menu at Pinoli features an array of appetizers, pasta dishes, pizzas, and main dishes.  Pizzas, such as the "Fisherman's" topped with marinated seafood and the "Mortadella" topped with pistachio, parmesan and truffle stracciatella, range from $16-$22.
