Naples Writer's and Authors Club is sponsoring a book sale from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Spanky's Speakeasy. The author's will be discounting their books. The restaurant is at 1550 Airport-Pulling Road, Naples. Information: 239-216-2317
Writers will submit original short fiction, poetry or essays to be read from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the South Regional Library. The library is at 8065 Lely Cultural Parkway, Naples.
