To walk through the glowing bronze doors of Pomellato's new Rodeo Drive flagship boutique is to be fully immersed in the Italian jeweler’s long legacy, with references both direct and subtle. These details begin before shoppers even enter the store—from an oversized brass door handle, intentionally molded to resemble Pomellato's Iconica ring, to a storefront covered in white tiles, shaped by Fornace Sant’Anselmo to mimic the brand’s Nudo jewels.
“The façade of our boutique has the monumentality of the gates of the Hollywood Studios,” architect Davide Caprioli tells ELLE Decor. “At the same time, it embodies the spirit of [Milanese architect] Giovanni Muzio’s Buildings.”
