Redlands Bowl to host night of Italian music

"The reason we got interested in Italian music is because it's so tuneful. I mean, the great operas are all so gorgeous; Puccini, Donizetti. All of the stuff written in the Italian language; it's such a gorgeous language to speak and sing," said David Shenton, violinist/pianist and member of O Sole Trio, the Redlands Bowl's featured artists for July 18.

O Sole Trio (a play on the infamous Neapolitan tune "O Sole Mio"), began with a love for Italian music and includes Shenton, soprano Erin Shields, and baritone Giuseppe Spoletini.
