Rochester’s Little Italy Neighborhood made a Christmas Eve donation today to the Father Tracy Advocacy Center, providing enough food to feed more than 1,000 individuals experiencing hunger along the city’s North Clinton Avenue corridor during the holiday season.
“It's important to remember that there are many hungry individuals in the city of Rochester who have nothing to eat during the holidays,” said Silvano Orsi, Founder of the Little Italy Neighborhood. “An important part of Little Italy’s mission continues to be to aid the hungry, homeless, and needy in the giving and caring spirit of our Roman Catholic faith.”
Beatriz LeBron, CEO of the Father Tracy Advocacy Center, expressed gratitude for the partnership. “We are deeply thankful to Little Italy for their generosity and commitment to community. This work cannot be done in isolation—meeting the needs of our city requires unity, collaboration, and strong partnerships across neighborhoods. Together, we are building a more compassionate Rochester where no one is left behind.”
