Louis Prima Jr. and his bombastic big band The Witnesses will headline this year's Rome Through Richmond Town, the now-annual celebration of Columbus Day that has replaced the borough's holiday parade.
Borough President James Oddo made the announcement on Friday evening before a raucous performance of "Angelina" by Prima and his band on the Lorenzo's Cabaret stage. This year's Italian-themed festival will land at Historic Richmond Town on Oct. 8, 2016.
