Live music, Italian food and an in-depth look at the historic roots of Staten Island? That's amore! Borough President James Oddo and Historic Richmond Town present the annual "Rome through Richmond Town" festival on October 8. The all-day walk through Staten Island's past will start at noon and go until 5 p.m. Admission is free.
Returning to the festival are local artists Charlie Poveromo, Vinnie Medugno and the band Cause and Effects who will sing all the Italian classic hits. Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses will be headlining the festival.
