San Gennaro 2017: Everything you need to know about NYC'S Feast

A good, old-fashioned street festival can be just the thing a New Yorker needs as the seasons change. Well after Bikers For Bini at the Mall and shortly after the 41st Festa di Santa Rosalia wraps up on Monday, August 28 in Bensonhurst — that feast runs from 68th St. to 75th St. — so begins the build-up to the San Gennaro Festival in Manhattan's Little Italy.

First, a nod to the Brooklyn Feast. The Santa Rosalia Feast salutes Saint Rosalia, the patron saint of Palermo, Sicily. Rides, games of chance and music — the fair kicked off with Staten Island's own Good Noise — and will close on Monday, Aug. 28 with R3Brothers. Find borough food vendors on the street like I Got Balls and Montalbano's Pork Store of Rossville. Hours during the week run from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
