Gennaro "Jerry" Bruno Jr. knows the ingredients to success: It starts with family.
The 25-year-old owner of Palermo bakeries got early experience in entrepreneurism through his parents, Giovanna and Gennaro Bruno, who opened their first bakery 26 years ago.
"Coming here from Italy, there was a demand for (Italian) baked goods and pastries," Bruno says. "My mom and dad wanted to create something together. They didn't want to abide by someone else's schedule."
