Springfield City Councilor Victor Davila has won the inaugural Springfield Feast Holy Cannoli Eating Contest and announced that all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Darryl Lee Jenkins Resource Center. Davila earned a $500 prize for winning the contest, which was held as part of the annual Springfield Feast celebration of Italian culture and traditions. He said the total donation, including sponsorship support, will be $1,200.
“The Springfield Feast is about bringing our community together, celebrating Italian traditions, and supporting one another,” said Councilor Victor Davila. “I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this fun community event, and to be able to help to an organization that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of Springfield residents in Forest Park.”
