The Tallahassee family of Rosanna Catalano is closing in on the making of a documentary that tells the gripping story of her Italian grandmother and others who risked their lives during World War II to protect Allied prisoners of war from the Nazis.
Catalano looks backward at a past filled with heroes and forward to her own creative daughter whom she is entrusting to bring their stories back to life in "Liberata," a documentary film which begins in the Italy of the 1930s.
