The Chamber Music Society of St Louis and the St Louis - Bologna Sister Cities invite you to Tapas Musicali, a Taste of Italy’s Musical Flavors, a classical music concert featuring mezzosoprano, Benedetta Orsi, and musicians of the internationally acclaimed Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. The concert includes pieces by Italian composers Torelli, Donizetti, Einaudi, Respighi, and many more. Italian themed beverages and light snacks will be available for purchase.
A few fun facts: The month of October is Italian Heritage Month in the United States which is why the Chamber Music Society of St Louis decided to partner with the St Louis-Bologna Sister Cities on this yearly tradition of a concert presenting Italy's vast musical heritage. Also, Benedetta Orsi, a native of St Louis' sister city Bologna, will be performing Sei arie per canto e orchestra d’archi by Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti.
