HOLY ROSARY CHURCH/CASA ITALIANA, in association with The Abruzzo and Molise Heritage Society of the Washington, DC Area, The Lido Civic Club of Washington, DC, and The Lucchesi nel Mondo-Tuscany Club are sponsoring a program on the Italian legacy in the development and growth of the United States Marine Band by Marine Historian, Gunnery Sergeant Kira Wharton, United States Marine Corps at 4:00 p.m. on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2014, at Casa Italiana (595 3rd Street, NW, Washington, DC). Admission is FREE.
The program will also include a performance by the Marine String Quartet and light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the program.
