As one of the three Italian movies competing at the Cannes Film Festival 2015, The Tale of Tales by Italian Matteo Garrone (two-time winner of the Cannes Grand Prix for "Gomorra" in 2008 and "Reality" in 2011) is a "fantasy movie with horror elements" in the director's words, interpreted by Salma Hayek, John C. Reilly, Vincent Cassel, Alba Rohrwacher and Stacy Martin.
Entirely filmed in Italy this is the first Garrone movie in costume and far from realism as well as his first film in English.
