One of the most attractive towns on the Adriatic Coast is indeed Termoli, in the region of Molise, a sensational place for its long sandy beaches, crystal-clear sea and stupendous historic center. If walking through its bright tiled streets might remind of Puglia, actually Termoli retains a peculiar character in its own, maybe a bit wild, typical of sea fortresses.
In fact, its historic core is a fortified citadel, set on the top of a promontory overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The view from up there is breathtaking on any occasion, when the summer sun bakes your face and when the winter wind whips.
