The spices division of Florence-based company Drogheria & Alimentari, owned since 1987 by Francesco Carapelli (the former owner of the oil brand bearing his name) and two investment funds (Sici Sgr at 24% and Hat at 16%), was purchased by American giant McCormick.
The division’s turnover stands at €50 million.
