Valpolicella - From The Valley Of Many Cellars, Significant Italian Red Wines

Valpolicella is a famous name in the Italian wine industry, and while many associate the word with a charming, medium-bodied red, Valpolicella also refers to an area where several accomplished wines are produced entirely or primarily from local indigenous varietals.

These wines include Amarone, one of Italy’s most robust and regal reds, Ripasso, a medium-full, spicy offering and Recioto, a seductive red dessert wine with over two millennia of history. Clearly, Valpolicella is an important home for some of the country’s most distinctive red wines.
