Each year, it takes hundreds of volunteers to organize the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival.
Volunteer Steve Pishner said there are different "levels and intensities" of volunteering.
"There are some who volunteer just for the weekend of the festival and there are some who volunteer year round," he said. Although volunteers may work as little or as much as they would like, Pishner said they all have one thing in common.
