Women are playing an increasingly important role in Italian agriculture, where female-led farms are growing faster than those managed by men and are becoming a major force in innovation, sustainability, and rural development.
According to new research presented in Rome by Confagricoltura Donna and CREA, Italy now has more than 400,000 agricultural businesses run by women, representing about one-third of the country’s total farms – a figure aligned with the European Union average.
We the Italians is a company that in 10 years has become a key relational hub between Italy and the community of the more than 20 million Italian Americans in the United States. We have built a set of information channels that monthly reaches 3 million Italian Americans.
