Europa Nostra, the leading pan-European organization dedicated to protecting and promoting cultural heritage, has announced the winners of the 2026 European Heritage Awards, one of the continent’s most prestigious recognitions in the field of restoration, conservation, and cultural preservation.
Founded in 1963 with support from the Italian organization Italia Nostra, Europa Nostra today works alongside the European Commission and UNESCO to support historic preservation projects, cultural research, and heritage education across nearly 50 countries.
