Sylvester Stallone gave himself a very personal gift this Christmas. The 71-year-old Rocky actor, sources told TMZ, plunked down more than $400,000 for a statue of his iconic cinematic character, Rocky.
The statue - which stands at nine-feet-tall and weighs 1,800 pounds - was a backup produced for the 1982 installment in the boxing anthology, Rocky III, and produced by A. Thomas Schomberg, the sculptor who made the original figure, which stands in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
