The San Francisco Opera will present the world premiere of Marco Tutinof's "La Ciociara (Two Women)" on June 13, 2015.
The company said Tuesday that the opera based on Alberto Moravia's novel of the same name will star soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci, tenor Stephen Costello and baritone Mark Delavan. Music director Nicola Luisotti conducts and Francesca Zambello directs in a co-production with the Teatro Regio of Turin, Italy.
