Legendary Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini has signed with LAFC this summer following the expiration of his contract with Juventus. The move was announced by the MLS club on June 13 after being teased the previous day.
The switch for Chiellini had been widely anticipated for the past month by a host of various reports across the United States and Europe, including Stuart Holden of Fox Sports, Romeo Agresti of Goal.com and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
