Sal Patitucci came to the United States in 1960 from Italy and dedicated himself to sports and keeping the local Italian-American community updated with his daily radio show. Recently, it was time for Pittsburghers to show their appreciation.
At the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame Banquet on April 10 at the Westin Convention Hall, Patitucci, an Aspinwall resident, received the Joseph Natoli Community Achievement Award.
