You are invited to attend a performance of Vincenzo Bellini's beautiful opera "I Capuleti e i Montecchi" (the Romeo and Juliet story) which will take place at the GW Lisner Auditorium, 21st and H St. NW in DC at 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 28, 2014.

Concert opera is a form in which the singers are at the front of the stage and perform in Italian (with English supertitles) with the full orchestra and chorus behind them (conducted by Antony Walker.) There is an excellent cast consisting of Olga Peretyatko as Giulietta, Kate Lindsey as Romeo, and David Portillo, Jeffrey Beruan, and Liam Moran. (Click to view a poster for the event.)
