The Embassy of Italy and the Middleburg Film Festival organized an evening in Washington celebrating the Italian-American community’s success in film, with a reception and the screening of producer and director Ray Romano’s feature film Somewhere in Queens, a comedy about a family at the heart of the Italian-American community in Queens, New York.
“A simple but meaningful story, which highlights the authenticity of an Italian-American family” emphasized Ambassador Zappia at the opening of the event at Cafe Milano in Georgetown, in the heart of Washington, followed by the screening at the AMC Theatre.
