Italian Music At The Library in Verona, NJ

In honor of Italian-American Heritage & Culture Month, the Verona Public Library will present an afternoon of classical Italian music featuring mezzo-soprano Teresa Giardina and pianist Rob Keiser on Sunday, October 13, at 3 p.m. Among the works will be keyboard sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti and three Italian arias by Mozart.

Giardina earned her bachelor’s degree in music from Hamilton College and her master’s degree in voice from Ithaca College. While at Ithaca, she took part in two summer festivals, Lied Austria and La Festival di Musica da Camera. Giardina is an active performer as both a vocalist and an instrumentalist.
