Saturday April 12, 2025 at 7:00PM. Marian Anderson Hall - 300 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA. Cavalleria Rusticana and Grandi Amori is an extraordinary show that combines the dramatic power of one of the most famous masterpieces of the operatic tradition, Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni, with the finest opera arias dedicated to love.
At the center of the narrative, the intense passion and tragedy of the Sicilian story of Turiddu, Santuzza, and Lola, who explore unrequited love, betrayal and jealousy. The opera opens with the famous Prelude, which, thanks to its poignant atmosphere, prepares the audience for an emotional journey without equal.
