
The Nutley-Belleville Columbus Day Parade and Italian Heritage Committee held their Pasta Dinner fundraiser at the Nutley Parks and Recreation Building, 44 Park Ave. on Sunday afternoon, March 23. According to Bill Freda, trustee, the event saw 280 people.
The dinner, catered by Ralph’s Pizzeria, included all-you-can-eat pasta, pizza, soda, bread, salad, and dessert. Pasta included ziti, penne vodka and broccoli and cavatelli. Also, people enjoyed sausage and meatballs. The dessert included coffee and Italian pastries at every table and chocolate-filled vanilla cake. Tickets were $45 for adults and $20 for children aged 6 to 12. Additionally, there was a 50/50 raffle, lottery scratch off ticket raffle and tricky tray.
