2025 marks the 18th year of CWRU and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures Program in Italian collaborating with Italian Film Festival USA (IFFUSA), the CWRU Film Society, and the campus student organization for Italian, La Dolce Vita, to host Italian Film Festival USA - Cleveland in Strosacker Auditorium. 

This year we also thank the CWRU Program in Jewish Studies, the Department of History, and local sponsor Liberatore Landscape Construction, along with our national sponsor My Italian Passport and the Consulate of Italy in Detroit for their support! Twelve other US cities are also hosting the Festival between March 28 and April 27, but CWRU is Ohio's only location. The 49th Cleveland International Film Festival in person will conclude on April 5, 2025.

The Cleveland dates at CWRU are Tuesday April 8, Thursday, April 10, Monday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 16. There is a special double feature on April 14, and the exclusive Short Films program will conclude the Festival on April 16! All films are in Italian with English subtitles, are recent and critically acclaimed, will begin at 7 pm, and will be Cleveland premieres.
